New Delhi, August 16th, 2012:

Treat yourself to the latest trends while also eyeing a classic….

Fossil India gives watch lovers a chance to revel in the season’s best horological offerings as they unveil the stellar fall & holiday collections
from their premium fashion brands. Beginning with the vintage elegance of Fossil, ease into the sophistication of Emporio Armani and the
glamour of DKNY. If you are not one for the subtle & the conventional, then receive your jolt from Diesel’s larger-than-life timeframes.

The new lines of timepieces stay true to the signature designs of the respective brands, effortlessly melding creativity, function and an
impeccable sense of style, destined to live on decade, after decade, after decade….

The Fossil Fall 2012 collection pays homage to their vintage core with an uncompromising devotion to authenticity. Taking inspiration from
1940s era aviation watches, the Flight collection has a clean, classic feel that’s as relevant today as it was back then. New mixed materials
from rich burl wood to masculine black-on-black give the Natalie pieces a unique dressing with one-of-a-kind inlays and plating that strike the
perfect contemporary balance. The ever-popular boyfriend Stella watches and the utility Nate watches make a reappearance in fresher
colors & designs.

Diesel goes outrageously large for the fall/ holiday season, reintroducing its super wow-factor, drink-coaster-size of Daddy watch dial in six
new styles. Also in the works are the hotly anticipated limited Batman & Mr. Cartoon watches. Inspired by the Batmobile Tumbler, The Dark
Knight RisesBatman-inspired timeframe features a black silicone strap with tank-like treads. The Batman logo is printed on the layered
chronograph dial and carved into the oversized crown. The Mr. Cartoon watches see Diesel and the irreverent and controversial tattoo artist,
Mr. Cartoon collaborate to create two customized limited edition watches, drawing inspiration from the vibrant streets of Los Angeles where
he grew up.

DKNY brings in the holiday season 2012 in pure New York glamour. Fun meets fantasy with all-out color, sparkle and shine. A sultry mix of
grey leather and luxurious gold embellishments create shine for a look that translates from day beautifully into night. A fun introduction, the
DKNY Minis feature a versatile and unexpected 20mm case. Wear the mini on its own or stack with layered bracelets and cuffs when the mood
strikes for more casual oomph. DKNY Men's for Fall 2012 watches are masculine, modern, smart, innovative and timeless. The collection has
‘fashion meets sport’ theme comprising exquisitely crafted watches completed by lustrous stainless steel or matte leather straps.

Taking inspiration from the classics, Emporio Armani creates a collection of sophisticated timepieces with a contemporary spirit.
These timepieces form an exclusive collection displaying a perfect blend of modernity and tradition, designed to capture the contrasting
personality of today’s generation. Catapult into technical sophistication with Emporio Armani’s Meccanico. The sporty Tazio and Renato
watches offset your inner player with durable silicon & leather design in varied hues.

In addition, the international winner will have their collection commercialized through key international retail partners including Harvey Nichols in the UK and Lane Crawford in China.
The Australian Wool Industry has supported many designer support programs dating back to the illustrious International Wool Secretariat (IWS) design award of the 1950’s which founded 2 relatively unknown designers of the time in Paris, Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld, through to the most recent incarnations by AWI such as the Protégé program in 2007 which aligned some of the worlds most established designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and Donatella Versace with young protégés of their choice. Most recently, the Woolmark Prize, which revived the original IWS awards, was held in Paris in 2008.
With the benefit of over 60 years of design award experience, The Woolmark Prize has been reinvented for a new generation through strategically tapping into the social media networks and establishing itself as the most innovative and cutting edge design award of our time.

Partners and designers who are involved with the Woolmark Prize project receive the additional credibility and benefits of the ‘natural fibre’ message that has become such a valued incentive within the apparel industry and consumer psyche.

About The Woolmark Company:

Pradeep Hirani, Amir Sheikh - The Woolmark Company
The Woolmark is the world’s best known textile fibre brand, established in 1964.

The Woolmark brand is owned by Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), a not-for-profit company owned by over 29,000 woolgrowers. AWI’s vision is to be a significant contributor to a vibrant, stable and profitable wool industry providing the world with the best natural fibre. The company works throughout the global supply chain – from woolgrowers through to retailers.

The company mission is to enhance the profitability, international competitiveness and sustainability of the Australian wool industry; and increase demand and market access for Australian wool.

Merino wool provides stability, durability, softness and luxury to the tailoring industry. The fibre has long been a favourite of designers, but younger consumers, born in an era of ‘disposable’ fashion know too little about the natural benefits.

Wool is a 100% natural and renewable fibre. Sheep live on grass, water, fresh air and sunshine. Wool is a fibre that is grown – not manmade. Every year sheep produce a new fleece; making wool a renewable fibre source..

There is no finer feeling than Merino wool.

OVS Fashion Industry

Okay, so Bhawna who I met at the jafra event , stays close to my place , and so we kinda bond together , well this time she got an invite from OVS industry , and she added me to the list too :) . So we were invited for the Press Day at OVS Italian Fashion store at the Ambience mall , Vasant Kunj to review their new SS 12 collection , last week of april .
Well , I had never heard about OVS before that , so I did a background check on it . I loved their website , it's very much like in-motion :D , although there were quite alot treasures that I found on the website but couldn't find them in the store . Well, it's an Italian Fashion brand which offers from a range of casuals to formals to bright neons :D , but the best part about them is the price range , which is not too high , I was quite surprised to see the reasonably-easy-to-afford prices . There is a teenage range called 'Baby Angel' which had the best pieces but not for us :D , although I tried out one piece from that range only , lucky to find my size :P .
So we got to try out a few outfits from the new collection , here's what I and bhawna picked :
1st outfit
That's bhawna on left and me on the right , doesn't she look adorable ? :) , Well we both actually loved that look of hers , that yellow skirt <3 :D . Well I'm a really bad poser , I'm mostly a camera conscious person and I can't pose , although bhawna was helping me to :D . We also met Srish again while we were almost done , but we couldn't take pictures with her , well hopefully next time .
2nd outfit

Both of our looks were pretty casual , although we both tried the blouse/top from the formal section but by adding denim to it we turned the formal look around. And that white tank top I picked up from the teenage section , it was a lace back top , pretty cute ,but yeah you can't see the lace :P .
They had a few pumps and ballet flats somewhere around in the shop but it was really hard to look for , maybe they should put them to display , well I tried this pair of nudes .

What I like about OVS ? The thing with this red clutch was love at first sight , I liked the hats :D , reasonable rates , I liked how colorful the whole collection was :) .
Here's a sneak peak into the new Spring Summer collection 12

So that's all for now see you next time , and while heading out we saw a pretty floral skirt in the teenage section , but we were too tired to try it by that time :P .
